@40:55. that corned beef sandwich rivals the old Carnegie Deli, on 7th Ave. and 56th st in NY. A Youtube the proprietor, Mr. Levine, shows Joan Nathan how to eat the monster sandwich. Sadly, the deli closed.

i lived in metro Buffalo, ny and have never been to Cleveland !! You need to pull in those people for their business, how about bus them in?? feed them, shopping, entertain them, take them back home, a 1day trip! this is a great show!! 😊

In from the UK. The only reason I heard of Cleveland was Harvey Pekar and the Cleveland Indians/guardians.
But this and the diner video really makes Cleveland stand out.
It seems like a very working class place, sort of like Lincolnshire and Yorkshire here. Not a rich or trendy place, but full of really cool people

I love George's Kitchen, Joe's Deli and Restaurant, and Fragapane's, on the west side. I'm sure the East Side has great places too, of course.
