After many many hours trying to get around this Cortana problem I stumbled across a fix, well it worked for me. When you get to the Cortana part of the installation you have no Wifi access because you have just installed Windows. Connect your pc/laptop to your router via a cable and it should complete the process. It worked for me.

A work around I found was to just do Ctrl+alt+delete then click on task manager and look for the Microsoft update task then click end task and voila

okay, my pc was not working smoothly, frequently the mouse would just pause and stop moving, so i decided to reset it .after trying it said reset not done try again, i clicked on try again bt now it got to a point where it shows a blue mini screen that says OOBESETTINS on top and a try again button at the bottom right corner, if i click on it, it starts loading saying just a moment but after a minute or two it shows the same blue mini screen again that say OOBESETTINGS ...PLIZ HELP
