My only fail is not having money to go to Japan.

One day I purchased wrong subway ticket. Then I decided to keep it, hope tommorow or someday I could use it (you know, japanese subway ticket only shows the price on the ticket paper, not the destination or the date. That's why i decided to keep it in case I'd go the destination)
So the day came. I finally could use the ticket. When I put my ticket on gate machine, the gate didn't open fully (just half open) but my tickey was accepted my the machine. Because I thought the gate was broken or something, I forcely open the gate and went to plantform escalator. Before I could reach the escalator, a subway officer approached me. I didn't understand all what he said, but the poin was he wanted to see my ticket. After he saw my ticket, he also wanted me to follow him to the subway office. It must be something wrong about the ticket or I trespassing the gate thing. Or do they think I'm a terrorist? Oh swear God, I'm not! I thought the officer was gonna warn or scold me for violating the rule. However it turned out he wanted me to re-enter the gate with new ticket he gave me. It's free and I didn't have to pay the fine. I was really sorry for my stupid act

I live in Taiwan but recently went to Japan for 11 days to meet some friends. I accidentally ended up saying "thank you" in Chinese to staff in various places since I'm too used to speaking Chinese *face palm* I got some very strange looks, but on the upside there was some staff who knew Chinese and thought it was interesting with a white person speaking Chinese, so we ended up speaking for a bit, which was nice.

Please do a video about navigating the social landscape (even if stereotypes), for instance in the US in high school we'd have jocks, nerds, geeks, spiritual/stoner/hippie people, high class, etc....

When I lived in Kyoto, I went to get some groceries to my local shotengai. I biked there, which was like 5 minutes away from my house and once I got there, I parked my bike next to a closed store which had one of those metal shutters that cover the entrance (not sure how are those called in English). Anyway so when I was getting off my bike, my foot accidentally hit the seat which made me lose my balance and crash into the shutter. It made the most loud noise possible and I know everyone there stared at me but not even a soul stopped to help me :( and I got a gigantic bruise on my knee.

First time seeing Cathy Cat with her hair down?? so used to her "regular" look! my epic fail was last month, got on the wrong train at Nagoya station that i thought was going to the airport, and missed my flight home from Chubu (Nagoya Airport) cost me about 625.00 USD to find a flight home. THAT is a epic fail!

I didn't know about the hand towel either before I went to Japan, so I bought one Totoro-themed there! Still I was too lazy to pull it out most times so I ended up using my trousers instead ... ^^" And about the clothes - I also constantly felt underdressed! They all just look so beautiful there T_T It's kind of a bad feeling as I'm just not into fashion at all it somehow really worries me as I plan to come back for a much longer stay v_v

I'm pretty tall (184 cm or about 6'0") and I'd wrongly assumed that I'd easily be able to find clothes in my size here in Japan. I mean, when I came as a tourist last year I saw that there were some tall Japanese people too, surely stores stocked large sizes for them. Heck, I saw a high school girl taller than me on the train. I mean I know that's not the norm, but tall people existing means there's a market for tall people clothes, right?

When I moved to Japan in March, I'd only brought cold weather clothes to save on luggage space, as it was still before spring, etc., figuring I'd be able to buy summer clothes when needed. When summer was nearing and it was starting to get warm (late May in particular), I couldn't find anything in my size at all. I found some things that were "plus size" but they were too short in the end.

To this day I still haven't found any physical stores that sell anything that's really in my size. Not even the foreign brands like F21, H&M, etc. So during the summer I was often wearing clothes that were actually way too hot, but I tried to act cool about it.

Man am I glad that it's autumn now.

Wow, is it still 33 degrees in late October? Or is this something you filmed a while ago?

My fail was wasn't major but still embarrassing. Because some of the streets are incredibly narrow, I didn't realize I was walking across a crosswalk in Kyoto. It was two, maybe three steps large and I was nearly run over. I just put my head down in shame.
