So I've loved Grease since I was 8 yet, I never understood the meaning of this song 'till I got 21. Damn. DAMN. Now I can say, she stole the movie right out of the hands of Sandy and Dany. Love it.

Rizzo is so great because of the juxtaposition of her compared to all the main characters. While everybody else is trying to be this or that she by comparison is who she is and makes no excuses. She is the only one that is real.

When I first watched the film, I didn't really like Rizzo as a character. But when this song played I found it catchy but the ending lyric "but to cry in front of you..." really caught me and stuck with me which makes this my favourite song out of the entire movie

That peppy blonde chick (not Sandy, the one at the beginning of the video) is actually way meaner than Rizzo because she pretends to be all nice and sweet but then "that's the one I was telling you about." Rizzo is definitely one of the best characters, and I hate the bad rap she gets for just wanting to have fun and be a regular teenager. I love this movie.

I was half bored watching Grease, then this one came up and blew me away.  A serious moment nailing the hypocracy of 1950s sexual mores and a lot more.  WTF???

When we did "Grease" in high school, all the girls went home after tryouts and prayed to be cast as Sandy... all but me. I wanted to be Rizzo. As far as I was concerned, she was a lot more fun to play than the straight role - and she got to sing this song!! Well, I got the part, and I'm told that I sang the hell out of this... but I never even got close to sounding like Stockard Channing. She was absolutely badass as Riz.

Honestly I never used to like Rizzo when I watched this movie as a kid, but as I've grown older I appreciate and understand her a lot more. Definitely my favorite character now (and also the best actor with the best singing voice in my opinion).
