Milwaukee Diamond Plus Hole Saw Review

Here's a quick review of these relatively pricey Diamond grit hole saws that are used for hard ceramic materials like tile and glass. Milwaukee's are nice because they have a thick layer of Diamond which actually lasts a reasonable amount of time . .

I am pretty disappointed to watch a review video of a drill bit where it’s not even used. I could have learned as much from looking at the package in the store. What a waste.

The reason why a product is made in another and packaged in U.S. is due to the nature of companies owned in the U.S. who go overseas for cheap labor and specifically to exploit and maximize their profits under lower wages. This is the nature of outsourcing labor.
I wanted to comment since they are essentially good questions you asked in the beggining of the video. It makes sense for anyone, but the logic of these companies always bends towards higher profits unfortunately.
Thanks for the review though, I'm learning to drill holes in porcelain for a project.

Let’s talk about the tool were using to open the packages 👀😂

These bits work. I broke a starter bolt off inside my engine block. Kobalt steel was doing nothing but a diamond holesaw and some water drilled that puppy out. Also a lot of patience

How would I use that on a rotary hammer drill to, drill a hole through the center of a boulder? I am looking to make a bubbling fountain with fire torch coming through the center as well.

With the small ones (arbor-less) start at an angle and straighten once it's set as it's cutting.

My experience with the smaller bits and modern commercial ceramic tile that is quite hard, as long as they are wet they will have an exceptionable life. For those who have to spot and mount items in an ADA compliance environment subject to inspections with dimensions , there is no rush to drill a hole and destroy the tile.

at least, we still have ''made in USA'' packaging.

Was this a review of the packaging or of the tool if it was about the tool how can you give a review of it without using it

FYI, if Milwaukee or any other company owns a manufacturing plant in China, they can say the are made by them, which they are, just in another country.

Thanks Catus, Please let us Know how they Perform . Hopefully The Price will come down rather than Go Up Eventually !

For that price I can only think of composite Kevlar or carbon fiber structures to justify the cost. Packaging engineers are getting ahead of product engineers!

Great breakdown! You should get your hands on Lowe’s spider brand version. See how it holds up. Thank you again for the great content!

I saw someone drill out a tap in a engine with one of those tiny ones, have to stop every 5 seconds to dip in water

Why didn't you put this but to use? That's the whole reason I clicked on this video. Not really much of a review if you don't see it put to use
