The Earth is dynamic, and constantly changing and its landmasses shifting and colliding over millions of years… and have so far left us with the 7 continents we see today. You might think that the planet is done evolving, but the continents are still moving around the planet, just as fast or maybe even faster than predicted. In fact, huge cracks have opened in the Earth’s crust overnight before our very eyes, and even the formation of a new ocean is happening right this moment. This is what it’s like living on a geologically active planet…

The spinning of the core is not what causes the magma to move, it's heating and cooling that does. Near the core, the magma heats up and rises. As it rises and gets higher, it cools off slightly, and slowly falls back down, creating convection chambers.

I know about all of this from my studies in Science classes, Geology, etc....it is amazing how are Earth is being transformed and, how much alike the currents of our oceans are, but with the molten lava coming up and taking bits of the outer crust with it back towards it core
in my opinion: our home is really a living and an amazing entity, and which actually also has a life of its own, even though we may not see it that way....its forever changing surface is like us with hiccups....it burps with an existence, then stays silent for a time until the next onslaught of burps takes over and again spews out lava or re-arranges the crusty mantle into various shapes, creating new land or sinking others into the oceans, etc. But no matter how long it takes, our planet is a living, "breathing" world and very unique with all of its various life forms upon it....even though other planets may exist, this one is OUR HOME and should be respected more because of it, and NOT taken for granted as humanity has done so since whenever humanity's existence came upon this world.
Our expanse of living quarters is really quite small compared to the rest of our planets physiology measurements. In actuality, humanity occupies a very small, limited space on the Earth's crusty surface, so why can't humanity be wiser and change its attitude towards each other instead of all the hatred, wars and greed society has chosen instead of preserving what our amazing heritage with our planet really instead to what is really important....namely making sure that there will be a livable future for generations to come.

Youtube has been a window on the world for me, learning more about science, history, archeology, etc. etc. and sadly, global warming, than I ever dreamed possible. I am 74 years old and am grateful I lived to see this technology. It's mind-expanding. I'm glad that young people today have this amazing resource. Just don't get caught in in the algorithms. There is so much to discover outside of the programmed patterns.

I live in Kenya, East Africa and on March 24th this year 2019, on a Sunday evening, we had an earth tremor which left the Great Rift Valley in a long and deep opening, cutting off transport from Nairobi to Maasai Mara... Most people think that it's just a matter of time and Africa will be torn into few years from now...
