Belt Sander Repair Ryobi EBS-1310V #0050

Pete repairs a Ryobi belt sander that has had a close encounter with the dust extractor cable and got snaffled!

MERCI, j 'ai eu le même problème en 2021 avec son propre câble en voulant changer la bande . impossible d'ouvrir en deux parties la machine, j'ai enlevé la courroie difficilement par la petite poulie . puis j ai tourné le rouleau arrière ou était coincé le câble 3 heures . j avais aussi enlevé son écrou mais je ne pouvais pas enlever le rouleau . j'ai pourtant la même boite d'extracteur mais je n'ai pas penser à faire avec juste une branche comme vous. très bonne vidéo merci encore ,
I had the same problem in 2021 with its own cable when I wanted to change the band. impossible to open the machine in two parts, I removed the belt with difficulty by the small pulley. then I turned the rear roller where the cable was stuck for 3 hours. I had also removed its nut but I could not remove the roller. I have the same extractor box but I didn't think to do with just a 1 branch like you. great video thanks again

Later in the video I call the tool a gear puller, strictly it is a bearing puller or bearing extractor. It can be tricky to find the words when both figuring out the fix and talking at the same time.

Is there a way to tell if the capacitor or the speed variate is the reason it won’t start, I checked the cable and the trigger they’re good?

Removing the case would not have helped, towards the end you can see the bearing holder and the wheel surround, into which case is trapped, are all a single casting.
