Actually this is not a folk song. It is a song composed by Arslanbek Sultanbekov in 1997. Political parties in various Turkic countries once mistook it for a folk song and used it as election music. When it was realized that the song belonged to Sultanbekov, he said that he presented the song to the Turkic world and allowed its use.

0:11 The word "kara-kış" is used here in a figurative sense. Although it is translated as "dark winter" in English, this word is also said in Turkish for the coldest days of winter.

This is an interesting folk song who knew a random place in Central Asia could have such great music, But then again I said something like that about Tuva and look at how great their music turned out!

The name Nogai comes from the Golden Horde commander Nogai, a descendant of Jochi, the eldest son of Genghis Khan. The name is translated as dog from Mongolian and has a totemic meaning. As a Kazakh, I understood the entire text. The Nogai language looks like a lighter version of the Kazakh language.there is less vowel harmony here, for example the Kazakh sogistar, the Nogai sogislar, kazakh zhurekter, nogai yurekler and fewer sounds

There are a lot of plain folk songs recently, as opposed to patriotic or ideological ones, an I like it, I think you should do more of them

i watched this video when it first came out, and i never bothered to post a comment until now but this video brought me happiness for some reason. the music is so relaxing and just like the lyrics say, "i never mention my worries" when listening to it. pairing its nice amazing aura with the background images is so relaxing and nostalgic for some reason. thank you for posting this song, and thank you nogai people for creating such an amazing song.
