Great video. For youngins who are new to the trade I would highly suggest adding your clearance to the piston measurement and zero the gauge with the 0 on the 12:00 position. Seems easier mentally to hit a dead zero than to his say 2.5 over. Visually you can more easially identify how close or far you are from your final dimension.

Can you please make a vid on how to use these and how to get the proper feel. Seems like my feel is always tight. Especially qhen using a micrometer. Any tips, or visual tricks would be an appropriated gem for me!

Very useful video. I was wondering when setting up the gauge, how do you align the back to the micrometer? Because the wheels will be riding on the wall of the bore which is round so the distance on the wheels will be different from the centre, depending also on the radius of the bore.

Nice video, I have z Fowler that reads .0005 increments, can i just switch out the dial indicator for one that reads .00001 increments?

Say the bore gauge 7th from the left I think is either a Dorsey or a Standard if I'm correct what you think about them?
