My Hood wouldn't pop and there's no videos showing how to fix it so I figured I would show anyone this happens to how to fix it. Get something long and you can push the latch on the left or right side to release it. Just move the fender liner out of the way hope this helps!

Thank you, very much. I had to buy a $20 long metal rod to get mine open. I didn't drive the G for 3 weeks and the battery was dead. This helped me a lot.

2010 FX35 drivers side won't open, will try this method today.

Could you do this from under the car the plastic from oem filters are in the way?

I took off the wheel and took off the driver side fender liner off then pulled the cable and it worked but now it won’t close🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m pushing it and it still won’t open. The driver side latch releases but the passenger side is stuck 🤦🏾‍♂️

There’s about 6 nuts you can remove off the top to pull out the entire latch and you can easily pull it with your finger. You just need a 10 and 12 mm ratchet
