Fortran Programming Course - Introduction

In this video we are going to see a little introduction to Fortran programming language.

¿What is Fortran?
- Fortran is a high level, general purpose, procedural and imperative programming language.
- It was developed by John W. Backus in 1957.
- It was used in the IBM 704 computer for scientific purposes.
- Most of the application of Fortran programs are developed in the scientific area, like: physics and chemistry.
