Takes 24 hours removing the gold from board takes the gold to cash converters and gets enough for a four pack job well done

In all these gold scrapping videos, nobody talks about what they do with all the remaining materials and acids once the gold is recovered. Gold is 0.0001% of e-waste, but it’s the only thing that everybody worries to recover. I’m worried about what happens with all the rest.

What’s wrong with people in the comments? Recycling is a very good thing, no matter how less it costs.

Just want to let you guys know that you'll have more loss if you want to turn this into business.

You strip the gold off the metal using a bath of cyonide sorry if I spelled it wrong. Then it leaves the gold as a mud like consistency. After you need a furnace to burn the gold .your supposed to add a salt like material idk what's it's called but during the burning process it turns the gold into a glass rock as well as turning the gold solid. Get a hammer break the glass off and you'll end up with a solid gold nuggett. Take some samples of the gold to test it's purity. Boom you got gold.

These are not pure gold, they're gold plated. So that's not really that amount of gold you think it is.

All these parts are gold plated stuff. After all the complicated and hard work, you might get $10 worth gold out of it. Good luck.

It is plated with a thin layer of gold. The bulk of that is still copper. You will need to melt it down and separate gold from the rest of the connector.

The Gold is in what this video brings in ! It's all about time, the volume of free scrap, and the efficiency of processing. I got better thing to do on my weekends.

Gold plating on connectors is typically less than 0.0015 cm thick.

mega lol. µm gold-plated - melting down costs more than what it's worth

A buddy of mine found about 50+(I forget exactly how many.) old motherboards. These were big server boards from a local company stupid enough to put them at the garbage bay. They were actually throwing them out. About 3 feet by 2.5 feet. I did my research and found an actual place that did the gold stripping process. Had to weed through the places that offered me $5 a board though. I drove up to the recycling plant about an hour away and met the guy I talked to on the phone. We stacked and counted them up on the dock and he came down with a check for about 1500.00. This was when gold was going for about 1500. So I gather they got more than an ounce out of them. Split the proceeds with my buddy. Pretty nice work for about 4 hours of time. My advice is to save up all those shaving until you get about a pound and see how much an actual gold recovery plant will give you for them. Then ship them. Lot easier than the risks with doing it yourself.

This video is real . But you need to hardwork . . . And alot of elements you use to seperate the real gold .
