I enjoyed watching your tutorial. I am a little intimidated by the pattern, not from the sewing sense, but I can see it will be very easy to get blocks turned around.I see you marked the "bottom" of each triangle, but I would personally have to mark the top and bottom of EVERY section. Do you maybe have some other tricks to help with those of us who are directionally challenged?

When you are cutting the half hexies is there any wastage in there? It appears there are good size triangular pieces or is that just the first piece.
