Is it just me or does it look like she is dressed up in a vagina suit? Maximum levels of cringe.

Schrödinger's Feminism: A woman is simultaneously a victim and empowered, until something happens. Then she chooses which state benefits her the most.

My great-uncle told me once before he passed: "You're unique. Not special." That distinction has been shaping me a lot recently, and more people need to hear this.

Lilly Singh is more damaging to India’s reputation than every convenience store stereotype ever put to screen.

woman: i want a seat at the table
guys: ok take a seat
woman: this table is rigid and hard and unfair
guys: welcome to the club.

Lilly complained about always being referred to as a “bisexual woman of color”. She _always_ announces it about herself.

I don't understand how she can say she's "assigned female at birth", which is really distancing language from her own body and identity, while at the same time, she's claiming special status for being female.

As an indian living in India her dishonestly about india (reinforceing stereotypes )and using her identity for sympathy points is so repulsive. Indians dont complain they work hard that is that get them to places. She is a Canadian and she is more privileged than many indians who works twice as hard as her.

“Sex is not ‘assigned at birth’; it is established at conception.” Don’t let the ideologues dictate the narrative.

Imagine being 33 years old with a net worth of $20 million, promoted across a variety of platforms, with all sorts of chances thrown your way and then claiming you are oppressed... *introducing Lilly Singh*

As an Indian myself, I hereby proclaim that we do not consider Lily Singh as a representative of our community nor do we want anything to do with her. Please, do not conflate her behaviour and thought process as a reflection of our own. She is an oddball that we dont want any association with 😂

If Lily was treated equally, she would be working at a Canadian McDonald's.

She’s a professional victim. Instead of talking about how difficult her privileged life is she should try being grateful for all of the opportunities she’s been given. What an ungrateful person!

Lily Singh was born in Canada. Her grifting about the West being sexist while she talks about people in/from India is extremely disingenuous.

That picture of Lily holding a 64 controller made me burst out laughing for a good minute. Anyone who has ever played any game on the 64 will instantly spot what she's doing wrong.

"I'm a failed comedian. Thanks for coming to my TED talk, you sexist bigots"

Lilly's life work in comedy is the best joke she ever told

Lily's approach towards "equal" treatment is why I, as a woman, have extreme, deep-seeded self-esteem issues. I rarely, if ever, got negative feedback on anything I did growing up. I can't remember more than one teacher who gave me useful negative feedback. I always thought that any awards I got were because I was a woman, not because I worked hard to gain, hone, and apply skills. My grades felt inflated and I felt like I was put on a different, lower expectation level than my male peers. I'm in college now and still can't truly determine if my accomplishments are mine or because someone else decided that it was a woman's turn to be accomplished. It's evil and I don't want to continue this cycle of degradation for younger generations of boys and girls alike.
