Wieniawski -- Scherzo Tarantelle Op. 16

Decided to post Wieniawski's Scherzo Tarantelle Op. 16, a difficult violin showpiece.

I've never played a violin in my life, but i think it's one of the most beautiful sounding instruments out there

I thought to myself that I would never be able to play this, three months later I finished learning the piece (Though I may say I squeak on harmonics and can not play it up to speed yet haha) but half of playing the violin is believing you can and confidence. Once you look at this piece and realize a lot of this is just repeated patterns of moving your fingers up in an octave motion you will nail this. One of my favorite piece to ever play!

My sister won a bunch of prizes with this song when she was 13-14. Now she is 18 and in the Berlin Philarmonic. 😢 I haven't seen her for almost 2 years. 😭

One of the best renditions of this piece, yet I've never even heard of the artist! Violinist Marat Bisengaliev! There are so many underrated violinists that never get to shine on the world stage for all to see and have their names as renowned as the greats. A bit sad to me.

A friend plays this, and she's 14. And I am 14, too and I'm like: WHY??? No matter how much I have to practise, I want to play this piece when I'm older. I LOVE it!!!

we notice how difficult this music is, and applaud the performer in the video for it, which is good, but remember that Wieniawski composed this AND was able to play it. truly incredible

Oh my god. I'm crying. This is perfect, sublime.. I can't believe it.

This is hard, yeah. There are fetuses playing it in their mother's stomachs, yeah. But music is music, not to be completed with (unless you plan on being a top soloist, in that case good luck) but enjoyed. Life's not worth feeling sorry for yourself that others do better than you, it's about working hard and improving at your own pace.
(Yes, this is just meditation for my inferiority complex)

you know im a violinist but this, this my dream to become a master violinist
