On August 6, 1945, at 8:15 AM, the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. Since then, the potential for nuclear catastrophe has grown to an unimaginable scale. Last year, people worldwide united in prayer for a world free of nuclear weapons. It was a truly moving event that reached well over 100,000 people.

Peter Yarrow, the American singer and songwriter who found fame for being in the 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary, joined an inter-faith gathering at St. Bartholomew Church, New York, to pay tribute to those impacted by the Hiroshima & Nagasaki atomic bombings (August 6 & 8, 1945).

Now age 85-years-old, he led a rendition of one of their most famous songs, "Blowing In the Wind, " first sung by the group in 1963.
