I was in a 2 week coma. I had a lot of weird vision/dreams. They can seem ultra real, but ultimately, they are just your mind trying to wake you up and keep you alive.

Coma is an extreme degree of depressed state of the nervous system, the absence of various reflexes to stimuli, and a violation of the entire life support system of the body.
My friend was in a coma for 8 days, and after that he could not remember anyone (even his wife and his son!). He couldn't talk, walk or anything else. He stayed in the hospital for more than a month - receiving daily medication, massage and physical therapy - while he gradually recovered. 5 months have passed, but he is still under medical supervision. And his driver's license wasn't renewed because he has poor driving reflexes. All this - after only 8 (! ) days of coma. His doctor told us that a person can recover if he was in a coma for NO MORE than 14 days.
So, after 19 years of coma, a person will not be able to wake up and speak. Maybe that man was in a Lethargic Sleep ? - In Letharic sleep, the human brain does not fall asleep (as in coma) and the patient’s body maintains the vital functions of the organs and is not in danger of death. It’s just that a person is in a state of very slow metabolism, where all physiological and biochemical processes slow down greatly, but the body continues to function even for many years, BUT medical support is needed.

The guy who survived the Titanic sinking was not celebrated for his survival because he took a place in a lifeboat that was supposed to be only for a woman or a child (I'm not sure how it's regarded today, but it used to be that children's and women's lives were considered more valuable than men's lives- and understandable sentiment, IMHO.)

i drowned at 6, now 71, veins jerked, shutting down, went into state of first memory chronologically presenting in subconscious, each trying to find an eco friendly solution, thought that satisfies my ego and vanity, then switching to a dream state where a allusion of beings, line up, saw haades, devil, lord robe only, crzy then i was whooshed back and i reached reality again, breathing in after a big exhale of water, all i know is stop pancking if you in that frantic must complete memoryies by mtching up with a satisying conclusion, 1. you will never complete the listt, 2. stop beng so frantic about it, relax, let death consume you, be inquisitive
