Make Alcohol Inks with These Easy Recipes | DIY Alcohol Ink Tutorial

Just for fun: If you do the marker in alcohol technique with a yellow highlighter and really dilute it down, you can make ink that will only show up under UV light! Really great for secret messages (as long as the reader has at least a UV flashlight), clues to find gifts on puzzle card pieces ... etc. SO much fun!
The best part when it's all been made and bottled, comes after you've cleaned up. Shine the UV light over the sink, the counter, your hands, your workspace, your couch or commode or anything you may have touched while making it (or to a lesser degree, using it). You'll see what an epic mess was made. NO worries, easy to clean off of solid surfaces with alcohol. I wouldn't bet on it coming out of fabric surfaces.
Also, you can use this method of soaking the sponge holding the marker ink with dried up markers, so don't throw them out! Markers, highlighters ... make ink if they're "bad".
