Thanks for these videos! I updated to the newest version of X Air and am running iOS16 and my X18 mixer refuses to stay connected over WiFi. I updated the firmware and everything, but still nothing. This is on a newer model iPad Pro. So I went back to my 6th gen iPad that was working fine previously with the other version of the app and the old firmware, and updated it to the newest app and newest iOS -- now it refuses to stay connected as well. I was thinking someone was wrong with my X18. But this morning, I downloaded the new MX-Mix version 1 from the App Store and it works! So strange that a "fix" to X Air actually bricks the mixer.

Helpful info! I’ve update the app on my Windows PC and iPad and seems to be working now. I’m holding off updating the firmware. Let me know what your experience was with the firmware. Thanks!

You don't seem to have mentioned a bug I have come across with the new Ipad app. You can have an Xair edit app running with one Ipad app and all is fine. However if you try to run two Ipad apps together one of the Ipads gets locked out. The faders won't shift on the first one connected to the mixer. That didn't used to happen. 😩

Still having problems with multiple iPads connected at same time even with firmware update, and reinstall with latest XAir app in IOS

Tried the update this morning (didn’t update firmware): clear solo doesn’t work. WiFi connection (was not very good) is now totally unusable (maybe better after updating firmware). The good news us that I sold the unit for a fair price because I upgraded to a Soundcraft UI24R :-) Better interface, more inputs, better WiFi, direct hdmi/usb connection to screen, multitrack usb recording etc.
