I like everything I saw, you just need to staple down the romex to the joist and you are ready to go.

Chances it will be in n a mountable location 🥴 Chances the wires are properly twisted under those nuts. 🥴. Just take it apart and do it right…. Avoid the callback or insurance claim.

I’ll never forget when I was bored helping my dad in the attic and decided to fall forward about a half foot to just lean my head against the wall. I look up and realize I was about a half inch from getting a nail in my skull. Never been so rattled in my life.

Remove wire nuts to inspect the splice before using the box.

No electrician here BUT I would still want to re do each previous connection to make sure it is good....cool j box idea though.
