The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), based in Paris, doesn’t get enough attention, even though it oversees hot-button issues such as digital taxation, climate finance, and the Financial Action Task Force, the standard-setting body for anti-money laundering and counterterrorist financing.
