This song went down in history as some sort of "disco rock sell out". That's about as unjustified as it can be. This is a good song, a fine combination of a disco groove, rock guitars and a vocal line (especially in the chorus) that's more Motown than anything else. Good compositions can easily be reworked in other styles. Point in case, this easy jazz rendition.
