Tlaloc is the Aztec god of rain and fertility. He is revered for controlling rains and storms and is an important deity for agriculture and the cycles of nature. He is associated with the Tlaloques, auxiliary gods who distribute the rains.

Interesting fact, in a village near Mexico City some villagers found a statue of Tlaloc. The Mexican government paid to move the statue to a museum. When the statue reached Mexico City it began to rain and flooded the streets.

Interestingly, all the ancient cultures share same types of God. Oldest book known to humankind... Rigveda mentions lord Indra. Similar to him there are Thor, Zeus, and Aztec gods also.
