Evidence of Evolution

The theory of evolution relies on the identification of common ancestors. This lesson looks at a few sources that help explain common ancestry including: fossil record, homologous structures, analogous structures, vestigial structures, molecular homologies, and developmental homologies. Are the wings of a butterfly and bird proof of common ancestry? What about the fin of a dolphin and a human arm? Watch and find out!

The 'common ancestry' point is also co-evidence for a common Creator. Similarity is expected too with DNA having the language of just 4 letters. If you look at the second code of the epigenome that works like a software program by chemical tagging [this is how gene expression works], then the similarity goes way down.
