garmin watchs are mostly sports oreinted rather than lifestyle. garmin finex is used by mostly ultra runners who spend most of their time running on trails so comparing it with samsung and apple is not fare. also most of it's metrics are used for running and its application is designed for that purpose only. the other brand we can compare it with is coros. both of them are known for making insane watchs for running and other endurance activities.
