Fantastic job!!!! I was a professional artist for many years, and I ALWAYS stretched my own canvases. Especially for custom commissions. If I may, you could invest in a nice pair of canvas pliers, from any art supply, and save your hands🤗

This is amazing. Shoutout to Kiva for preferring Lowes over Home Depot too.

I remember from art class and learning to "wrap your canvas" we used what is called Gesso.( I'm recollecting from 30 years ago). Guess it's like a primer for the canvas. Then paint your design.

Girl you have the "gift of gab"!😆 And I mean that in the nicest way. How you talk that fast, include so much info, and seemingly never do any retakes astonishing!! You're a real natural in front of the camera. Loving this latest project offering from you as well. Great job Kiva😍

Super Inspirational! Just finished stretching a 44 x 60 canvas. Canvas pliers are the bomb….plus….my staple gun has a setting for 'wire'. This simply means that the gun will fire the staple in 3/4 of the way… This makes it easy to remove the staple with a pair of pliers for fine-tuning that canvas, and when you are happy, then you just hammer them home.

That looks great! A tip before screwing in a screw, drill a small hole first it makes it easier for the screw to start twisting into a hole that’s already there.

Love the way you made it all simple and possible for anyone who wants to live the life of their dreams without throwing their money’s in a money-pit….

That is INSANE! Normally I'm REALLY cheap and would think "$70 bucks for a canvas is still a lot" until I realize how MASSIVE your canvas is and how EXPENSIVE even smaller ones are, you're right! I'm literally mind-blown and that rarely happens with these videos! INCREDIBLE job!!

Fantastic! I love that the 2/3rds rule with regards to sofa size and art was ignored. We have a huge canvas of a place we have wonderful memories of. It does not meet designer rules but it makes our hearts happy every time we look at it which is throughout the day. One's home should make all people living feel comforted, comfortable and secure. Decor should serve to remind all inhabitants, children included, of the happiest times and hold what is relevant to each persons needs. Ego, showing off, wanting to impress others who live outside the home has nothing to do with family comfort and everything to do with the decorator being insecure and trapped in ego.. Decorating to impress others can even deny a homes inhabitants comfort and joy. Home is where the heart is if each heart within the home is allowed to shine to it's own beat.
