Emmy Rossum was a fantastic choice for Christine. Her and Sierra Bogess are my favourite, because they both capture the innocence and sweetness of the character.
Many times the part of Christine is sung in a legit soprano style, but I think it makes sense for Christine to sound young and inexperienced, as she is a singer with immense potential, but is only at the start of her career.

Ive never understood the hate with this movie I remember watching it non stop when I was just 3 years old and it's still one of my favorite musicals adaptations ❤ i also loved each character in it specifically Gerald. I loved the way he portrayed the phantom and couldn't get enough with his dark mysterious angelic voice❤ plus the soundtrack is out of this 🌎 and still gives me goosebumps!! the list goes on an on

I fell in love with this play long ago, and when I watched the movie, I knew it would forever be and still is one of my all time favorites. I can watch it multiple times, and I’ve even watched it twice in one day. I’ll never get enough of this movie. I hope they bring the movie back to theaters sometime soon with enhanced sound technology and higher resolution.🌹
