What a fun and entertaining movie! It started out as I thought a boring documentary but turned out to be a very entertaining movie. What talent all had. The airhead secretary would give Lucille Ball (I Love Lucy) a lot of competition, along with Gracie Fields for being airheads and above all, talent. There are touches of "The Maltese Falcon" and a bunch of great talented people and actors. I highly recommend this movie.

I enjoyed the very amusing Secretary, Avril. Looked her up, her real name is Avril (Angers). Apparently a popular British comedian, glad I found her.

Enjoyable as a period snapshot. Seeing the sort of thing Terry Thomas did in his Variety act is a rare opertunity,
the rest is fun lightweight movie, Carole Landis is lovely . but Avril Angers is someone I shall look for in future
