Erik was the winner of the Swedish TV show Idol back in 2009. He was then in the rock/metal band H.E.A.T. Some years ago he got leukemia and recorded Skid Rows 18 and life. The band saw it and offered him the position as the lead singer of Skid Row witch he accepted. But early 2024 he left the band to focus on his recovery from cancer. He is now cancer free and records covers on his youtube site. Ohh and he has done covers together with both Tommy and Dan Vasc, so there are sooo much for you to check out....

Erik and Dan Vasc are my favorites. Erik does this cool thing where he spins a wheel and whatever genre it lands on determines the genre of a song that he will write. He spins another wheel which determines the subject of the song. Then he shows the process he goes through to write the song. My favorite one is a country western song called Sex on the Beach, both determined by the wheel. It’s a really good song. It’s on YouTube, on his channel.
Plus the song he did with Dan Vasc, Breaking the Silence, is awesome!

Erik is a fantastic artist and a great guy, he has done a couple of songs with Dan which are epic. My favourite of his is You’re The Voice a John Farnham cover. He likes to set himself challenges, he has a wheel of forTunes which he spins to decide on a genre and then a theme for a song. Then he’ll go write the song, he’s amazing and great fun.

As others have said, Dan and Erik have collaborated together a couple of times. They sound amazing together! They did do Breaking the Silence, but also Faithfully.

Erik has an incredible voice, which is also very versatile. Erik and Dan did “Breaking The Silence” by H.E.A.T. (Erik was the lead singer for 10 years) together and Erik covered “Carolus Rex”, a Sabaton track, with Tommy J.. Both songs are incredible!!! For me the 3 best musicians on YouTube, (even if Dan is on top 🤩🤩). Just my opinion. Thank you very much and more from Erik.

Go down the rabbit hole that is Eeik' You Tube page. Scroll back 3 years to his first cover of Black Sabbath's Headless Cross. That was when he was recovering from cancer. He is the former singer of H.E.A.T. and Skid Row. He's got the goods!
