The sounds are half the reason why this is terrifying

As Thomas consumed each and everyone, the last one consumed wasn't going out, without taking Thomas with him. He held onto the lantern as tightly as he could, as Thomas bared down onto him and as he went down Tomas throat, released the oil within the lantern, not being completely metal, that cursed flesh from within burned as the last man took out a knife and cut his way out through the back.
