AMR has switched to push rod rear supension, and therefore Mercedes and Williams. The push-rod is almost horizontal so it is not easily spotted.

3:11 rear suspension is pushrod, you can see the trackrod there almost horizontal much more agressive setup than redbull. what looks like a pullrod trackrod its actually the front arm of the top wishbone with agressive antisquat geometry.

Just a heads up, the new gearbox/rear suspension from mercedes is push rod not pull rod according to all the photos I’ve seen so far.

This car is a masterpiece from an aesthetic and engineering standpoint. Bravo Aston.

Papa Stroll has unironically been a blessing to Aston Martin, just look at the road car lineup and now the massive improvements in F1.

I really like the new sidepod shape, especially the one shown at the Silverstone shakedown vs the one from the renders. I feel like the "trench" in the sidepod is a bit narrower than before as well. Generally, really interesting looking and I hope it's every bit as promising as it seems - some of the parts look like an evolution of the failed upgrade package, so I'm crossing my fingers!

When Dan Fallows was being interviewed about the new push-rod suspension, it seemed he may have been annoyed that Mercedes went with this solution late in development. I think he would've did Pull in the front as well if there was more development time.

God, I only want Alonso to be in the title fight again. That would be crazy.

Rare mistake from this analysis. AMR24 is actually using push rod at the back

I heard the duck bill for the main radiator inlet is not only for managing flow under the sidepod but is also helping to guide any overspill up and into the water slides.

Could you take a look at the new Aston GT3?

Fernando 33th win (and hopefully lot more)... that undercut could be bigger thanks to that big lower intake "limp" (clean air to beam wing while keeping wake onto the rear wheel)

Hopefully it goes as well as it looks.

renaming this team to Aston Martin was the best thing they did. It feels and it is a true british icon, it helps with sponsors and they got themselves a honda deal. Only W’s. David Brown, Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin would be proud.

Hi BSport thank you the awesome video! Just wandering why the rear suspension layout is so adventurous with its near horizontal push rod - what is the gain from that if any? What might have led to that compromise?

I don't know if the final suspension setup will be similar to what they've showd, but the front wing looks like it's hanginge a lot higher than last year

3:10 Incorrect. Rear suspension is pushrod this year.
