The only thing to point out in the beginning is you can’t mix the factions banished can only be with banished while Spartans can only be with Spartans reason being is the special orders … unless your playing through house rules would be the only way to bypass that :)

Only at 3 mins in, but have to say that board looks great. Never thought about rock formations as terrain in a game like this. @5:30 the spartan would have been thrown into the wall and not placed up a level. You can be thrown down but not up. @ 6:30 you can only carry 2 items but you had 2 then picked up the objective item. One would need to be dropped or destroyed when you pick up a 3rd item. @29:11 you added 2 dice for weight of fire 2. WoF is reroll misses. If they all had hit then you lose out on the WoF ability, but you cant reroll the same dice twice if you only had 1 miss. I got pulled up on this before. @59:30 items do not scatter from being pinned. Didnt notice but not really watching, but with the merc if he is shot at but hasnt been forced move (grenade blast etc) he then gets a free move (if not pinned) which could get you into combat for a free attack. Nice battle report. More to follow I hope?

Good one! Haven’t played this game mode yet. I do think the game mode and more terrain really do salvage a lot of the slug-fest feel that happens as well. Hoping this can be polished up a little more and the game starts to shine as the additional units and rules tweaks come through. Great stuff FoG crew! 👍

I suspect the game needs the points and ability to design your team to speed up play in a scenario... thanks for trying again!

I agree with shorting the rounds to 6 if you can respawn unlimited. I also think 1-2 lives play better and gets right to the point.

I feel like if you really want to mix your Spartans and Elite, you could just play with no faction rules but idk if that will upset the balance too much.

Nice vid, but... you can't mix factions. The Banished Elites do not go with Spartans - just incase that confuses new players who see your video :)
