I haven't heard a good argument about the problem of immigration, although studies say immigrants improve our GDP. So a pause seems dumb. Maybe a pause on the emotional problem is more to the point. If they are worried about population size we could look at replacing poor performers with better immigrants? Also there are apparently millions of citizens that hate democracy and are even working to topple our gov't. So why not replace those millions with immigrants that do want to live here and both groups should be happier! Come up with a good argument.
