The BMW R18 just made its debut on the market. 1,800 CC engine, with one cylinder bigger then my entire Sporty V-Twin, it’s the first BMW to be able to compete in the American cruiser market, ruled by Harley-Davidson.

I decided to try it in UK. Curvy country lines, A road and mini roundabouts and sharp corners in the oldest registered town in Great Britain.

The R18 unquestionably beautiful motorcycle which has all the design cues of a motorcycle that can trace its heritage all the way back to 1936 and the R5. I agree that it lacks the performance chops that have made modern BMWs what they are however in my opinion BMW just nailed it & i would happily say that it's a fantastic replacement for my 2006 Suzuki Boulevard m109r.

I've booked a test ride on the very same bike at Cannon for this weekend. Looking forward to it. Do you have a recommended route for the 2 hours? And did they say it was OK to fit your Quadlock mount to the bars and does it have a usb socket for your phone?

It looks like you had a lots of fun 👍That is a one lovely bike, only the exhaust pipe spoiling a bit of the look . Fish tail looks great but middle part is far too wide . Good job with the review 💪

That bike is all you; chic and fierce. If you could get the bars extended back so you could sit all the way into the seat, like at 17:00 minutes, you could maintain the upright posture without excessive reach. You should look into a road glide without all the bags and the big 131" motor. I could see you on that. :)

That's probably your best review video yet. Unfortunately I don't like the look of the standard Bike. I like the Bobber version but that means spending an extra couple of grand to change the Handlebars, seat, forks, exhausts etc. Not worth it for me.
Also there's no cruise control and they want to charge you extra for a locking fuel cap!
I don't like to be critical but maybe cut down on the special effects when you're riding. I think it looks better with the 'normal' view. ( Just my opinion, ignore it if you want to.😀).

I stand 6' 4" tall. I would need some way to stretch out my legs. The cylinders would be in the way. Otherwise, this is one gorgeous bike! I prefer air/oil-cooled engines.

Good review of this bike. Nicely done video as well. Gotta say...this BMW is not my cuppa tea. Especially didn't like the flat twin torque pulsation. But then again, I am a die hard Harley rider. Especially custom built

I’m waiting on mine to arrive on the 24th of October here in Australia. I haven’t ridden one yet so I’m sure ownership will sort that issue out!🤣🤤👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺 Just 2 things. The 360 degree view is too much & the sound quality was not great. Still you’re doing better than me!😂

I think it would be too big for me as I like to be a bit flighty on my bikes even though I'm not small
