You might want to update your info. The Gold series came out in 1996. The HE (High Efficiency) system is at the top of its market and doesn't use this technology. It is an upflow system. Award winning and highly efficient. Wondering why you didn't compare your system to the Culligan HE, since they're both upflow systems.

Learning that they Lease/rent system & they provide any/all services, parts and/or repairs at no cost to me here in So. Cal. They do it all! Sounds GREAT, right! Have an appointment with Wtr. Tech to go over the offer, installation & service. Will update in a few months if we choose them to see how Culligan really is! (For a leased system)

Bought a Culligan in 1982, Mark 59 brand. Paid over $1, 100 back then. Wanted what I thought was the best. They did not leave me a manual on it. Learned thru the years that they do not intend on homeowners repairing it. I felt that it was mine and should be able to buy parts. On that count, I will never buy another one and I tell all my friends and neighbors about my experience with Culligan.

As an avid DIY'er I learned a lot from research. I assembled a unit using Clack valve with 1.5 cuft3, 10% linked Resin tank. Installedmyself. It's been trouble free many years. I regularly clean brine tank and use only good clean salt. Softener is
plumbed for hot water only. Have a 7 stage RO system for drinking and cooking.

Honestly, I didn’t trust any of the other companies who sell water softeners in my area but Culligan. We have the newest HE Municipal Water Softener and have never been happier. If it’s sized and installed properly; it’s practically maintenance free. I also like the fact that I can reach my Culligan man by text any time if I have any issues. Anyway, to each their own. Homeowners should do their research and choose what’s the best fit for their needs 🤷🏻‍♂️

Culligan is proprietary yes but here is why it protects the customer from fly by night water conditioning companies trying to sell them something they dont need or the old take the money and run approach just because a company is in business today doesnt mean they will be in 5 years culligan is a global company with close to 100 years in business and over 800 dealerships world wide when you buy a culligan system you can do so with confidence knowing the guy you bought it from will stand behind their product ...just speaking for the prospective of a 20 year sales service and installation technician

Which would be better? Culligan 9 inch High Efficiency 30k Grain for $2, 846.50 installed or... Waterright 1044 40k Grain for $3, 164 installed🤔

Amazing how this guy picked a Culligan water softener that has been on the market for 20 years and is still available from some dealership. Why didn't he compare it to the newest Culligan water softener that offers the same technology? Makes you question his motivation. Oh its to sell his equipment.

First, thank you for your very informative videos. They have provided much information to look into and they have narrowed my search to your water softeners as definite candidates over say a Genesis 2 Premier 64000, but the ECO systems still seem to be top of the line, though I agree with your assessment that their high cost are due to overhead in sales/installation ect...
Besides cost, why would one choose Softpro over an Eco ECR3702 SERIES? Also, it does not appear that Softpro offers any models with a gpm of even 10 where this ECO claims 20?

So you’re ripping Culligan because they make their own equipment and you can’t get parts. How horrible! And the customer is “stuck” with a Culligan unit that will last them 15 to 20 years! Why don’t you bash junk like Whirlpool, Morton etc. Because you can’t compete with Culligan and it hurts your business. And since when is it a bad thing to have the company that installs and manufactures the equipment to service it? You’re just spewing nonsense.

So this guy makes a video bashing his competition. It's pretty obvious to me that he cant beat them just promoting his product he has to try and pick apart his competition which has been in the water business longer than hes been alive 1936 is when Culligan started their business. What a shameful tactic and from what I can tell from this video I wouldnt buy anything this guy is selling

You almost had me, until the end of your video when you stated the nonsense about alkaline water being better for you than acidic water.
