Species | Bronze Bream

The Bronze Bream. This may be one of the most targeted species from the beach/rocks. The reason being, you don't need a R20k reel to land one like a big Grey Shark. You also don't need super human skills (or a drone) to cast out hundreds of meters to find one. We affectionately refer to looking for them as "scratching for Bronzies." The reason being, they are found close to the shore in and around rocks.

Not sure if it's true but I also heard that there is a tiny organism that lives on a perticular weed that they feed on and they don't really digest that weed but the small organisms..? Plus iv seen guys that fish on boats sometimes catch alot of them on the backline to mini deep?
