Harry Dean is a cousin in my maternal family, who predated me, but was well acquainted with my mother, dad, aunts and uncles, all of whom he outlived. I cannot adequately express how special it is for our family to have this extraordinary song by Ian McNabb to remember the essential Harry Dean.
