Hi Gerard. I love your videos. I became a freemason just last month. My father, grandfather & great grandfather were all masons. Now 32 years old i felt that i was at the right point in my life to follow in my family's footsteps. My initiation went well and i had a great night afterwards meeting and conversing with all the other members and really enjoyed the whole experience. I am looking forward to my masonic journey and learning more about the craft. My mom even gave me my grandfathers old WM apron which he was presented with in 1953 which i intend to wear with great pride when my time comes to take the chair.

I learned late last night that my Lodge had voted unanimously to approve my petition, so my EA Degree is scheduled for the 21st. Thankfully, a nearby lodge has offered to let us conduct our work there due to the heat we're currently experiencing and the fact that our lodge building currently does not have air conditioning.

I'll be receiving the EA degree tonight at St. Johns #1 Providence. As I'm counting the hours down, its a bit surreal that its finally happening. This is something that I have thought about my entire adult life - I'm in my 50's now, better late than never!
