I think the reason Miriam is okay with kidnapping but not using youth potions due to its contents is because she genuinely doesn't know that kidnapping is bad. She only informs Joanna of this "take of the century" because someone else told her about it. Maybe kidnapping is just a typical part of witch culture, so she doesn't realize how problematic that is

I love the little sounds they make and how they interrupt themselves and each other, really makes for an authentic-feeling conversation. Idk if this is taken from anything or original audio but I love it, and the animation makes it really come alive, too.
