I used to listen to this guy while driving home from my first full-time job, back in the late nineties. This show is best listened to at about 3 am driving down an empty highway, I think.

I missed the art bell boat. I only discovered him and his show after his death. My loss. I would’ve enjoyed listening to him live on so many sleepless lonesome nights. Wish he had lived longer to witness these strange days we are living and enjoyed his young kids for a while longer. Listening to his archived shows on youtube, he was always so respectful to his callers and guests. I think that’s why he was so beloved. Let’s all be nicer to each other. It’s not that hard. Thank you art bell.

I'm from New Zealand and just discovered Mr Bell. Legends have the ability to inspire people long after they have physically left this world. RIP, sir.

Art Bell - the paragon of talk radio and crypto inquiry. Single handedly transforming late night into an adventure.

My son is 23 and last wk we took a night trip to pick up my dad from work.
I put Art Bell on for the drive. .
My son is hooked now!! Hes been listening to him ever since.
The first one he listened to was the 911 broadcast . He was 9mths old when 911 happened. Art was a history maker.
My son has so much respect for him as his way of making each callers words feel valid. ❤ we will always love Art Bell.

I have followed Travis story for over 30 years. This is by far one of the best personal interviews that I had ever heard. Thank you for this post!

The very first time I heard Art Bell was back in the 90's I accidentally ran across his show on the radio.  I used to be a Patrol Officer and was working graveyard shift, driving around at night and I was just trying to break the silence of driving alone at night and found Art Bell on KOMO AM 1000 out of Seattle, WA.  It just so happened to be that night of the infamous "Panicked Caller" night where the guy called in crying about some knowledge he had about a Gov plan in collaboration with Aliens to target large metropolis cities.  Well anyway, I remember that call was so intense that I had to pull over to listen to it.  I have heard people call in panicked before and that guy whoever he is, was real.  Anyways I was hooked on Art Bell after that and have been listening to him ever since.  Was so crushed to hear of his untimely death.  Art, thank you for getting me through all those nights.  I never felt alone when you were on the radio.  You are SO VERY missed, my friend.  Good Journey, and Godspeed Brother.

There's something sort of magical about Art Bell's show audio that is excellently distinct from any others. Perhaps it's the combination of sounds including his bumper music and his voice, as well as his likeable personality of intelligent humor that makes him uniquely special and in a category of all his own. ✨😊✨

I was an after hours medical courier in Dallas during the 90s. Art Bell was a best friend to many graveyard shifters and night owls. Thank you!

Just discovered Art recently. The nostalgia and sadness I feel for something I never got to experience when he was alive is such an odd feeling. Im so grateful for these.
