This was… weird. I get they’re doing a different timeline but I would have much preferred a retelling of the trilogy. Shame we’ll most likely never get that now. And is there really a human antagonist? Getting Death Note live action vibes.

For people that grew up on Halo, to not hear the deep voice of Steve Downes as Master Chief is going to be hard to look past. Happy a series is finally here but I feel like that is critical as Darth Vader being voiced by someone different. The voice IS the character.

Cortana with human skin, huh? I mean, it doesnt look awful, and I get the practical reasons for the decision. But if her design is already post-processed, one cant help but wonder why not just have her be... you know... a hologram. Other than that, most of the designs look excellent so far!

Why didn’t they use any of the actual Halo songs. Halo has some of the most epic soundtracks of all time. Plus they should have kept Master chiefs original voice actor.

This is why video game creators are so special, the lore and stories they tell are so far beyond the political and marketing agendas of hollywood and the film/tv industry. Thankfully video games have not been pulluted by the industry which makes them so compelling, genuine and unique. Its no wonder when the film/tv industry tries to adapt to a video game that they will always fall short...
