Oh my oh my! I do not think I have seen anything so spectacular. Then I do not think of the wildest and most beautiful lake with a volcano, but Dave's acceleration and cadence on the bike. I would be happy to sell my fishing gear if I could come cycling with you all the way up once.

Remember the time visiting Crater Lake it was early to mid-July and it was quite hot, but the rim drive was closed in one section due to remaining winter snow. Stayed in cabins in the park, and yes, that fresh smell was wonderful.

What a beauty of a place. Great video on your ride, you really captured the way the road hugs the rim all around the lake. Got to watch out for snow boulders in the road. Looking forward to your exploring the Coast.

Goodness what beauty. A bike ride is very hard to beat, friend of when he was getting would say, ” isn’t time for a muffin, those stops and Conversations were priceless. Up out of the saddle, hard to wait till I can get out there. Altho I was a Sprinter, was hard to beat on the downhill, ha! Hope our paths cross one day👀

We camped at Mazama Campground there several years ago mid or late September and it snowed on us! Complete surprise. That bike ride looked incredible! Makes me want to go back.

Now you are in my backyard for sure! Definitely come back. I was surprised you hadn’t been there. Check out the headwaters of the Rogue River, National Creek. Easy hike. I paddled from Rocky Point and the Wood River just last week, northwest of upper Klamath Lake. After a winter in the high desert it was nice to be back in the Oregon woods. This week Im in the cold with snow in Wells, NV.
