I've been trying to do this through scripts and animation controllers and its just messy. Can't wait for this feature!!

Dear Unity, when you are going to make demos using this tool, could you make a demo of a room with traps were we can move the timeline to sync the traps animations?.

Amazing stuff! I have a question though, can I create compositions of multiple animation clips to use as ONE state only in animator controller?

Really interested in something. Will it be possible to control the progression of a timeline through input? For example I've got a cutscene with my player and an Ai having their swords locked together and i need to press E repeatedly to push the sword towards my enemy, after I push sufficiently enough, the rest of the cinematic will continue.

Is it possible to use the new Timeline without any code?
I mean will it be more Animator Friendly or I will have to use Code like you showed.

Check Godot. It's powerful, open source and it already has a timeline. With Godot you can create 2D and 3D games.

or you can just create an empty object and put all the objects that you are willing to animate under it and then make a cutscene using the animation tab that unity provides

These guys are TERRIBLE presenters... WAY too rushed... "Oh, man... we have to do a presentation? How fast can we blow through this to get it done?"

I'll start searching for "filmmakers using Unity Timeline"...
