Before the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, the Uncapped Player Retentions of all 10 teams have been finalized.

According to the IPL 2025 rules.

This time all the teams can retain minimum 1 Uncapped Player and maximum 2 UNCAPPED Players from their 6 retentions.

Uncapped Player.. Players who haven't worn a cap for their country yet, (players who haven't played an International match yet.

Retention Price of Uncapped Player will be 4 Crore.

Delhi Capitals - It is confirmed that Delhi will retain Abhishek Porel (wk) in their team as an uncapped player for 4 crore.

Rajasthan Royals - Have option as an Uncapped Player, Subham Dubey hits really well, he is not a CSK player, brother, Shivam Dube or Subham Dube.
2nd Option Tanush Kotian has a great performance in Domestic cricket.
And Abid Mustak and one more name. Don't be surprised to hear Sandeep Sharma's name because these are the rules that a player who has to play in India's team should be called up to the national team. If it has been more than 5 years since he has played for India, then that player will be considered uncapped.

And Sandeep Sharma last played for India in 2015.

Because 2 best players will be found in 4+4 = 8 crores and what should be done.

LSG - Mohsin Khan will be retained.

And now LSG will not be able to retain Mayank Yadav as an uncapped player because he has already made his debut.
