The Brewers 2024 season. Wins 65-72. Losses. 90-97. Pitching staff. 5.14 ERA. Team Batting Average .223 maybe .230. Homeruns 90-102.
For 50 years I've cheered, supported, spent thousands and thousands of dollars at games, on merchandise, and other variables. Every year the same 💩💩!

This team will be LUCKY if they win 70 games. Mark Anastasia has tried everything to make this team as awful as possible. His comments that he expects this team to win? After dumping a Cy-Young winning pitcher, an Ace Closer, and dumping every single batter who hit above .240. When this team signed JBJ for $10 million dollars? It showed me just how knowledgeable they are. On a 0-100 scale of player intelligence the Brewers front office scores a 3.2/100. Mark Anastasia he's a 0.75/100. But he uses his ignorance to make sure this team makes the dumbest moves possible. And DON'T give me that BOO HOO we're a small market team, whaaa whaaa! The Milwaukee Bucks are in that same position, BUT THE BUCKS OWNERS spent some money! See the Brewers want a new stadium, or to refurbish this one. Miller Park, American Family whatever. Yet the owner does NOTHING to show the fans or the city that he is willing to spend money to improve this team. Every few years, same crap! They have a fire sale and they unload all of their top players for prospects. Some of them work, most end up on other teams. They sign has beens, or injury riddled guys, or guys hoping for one last shot. Many of them played well. but in Milwaukee if you play well, your gone. Even if you ask to stay, WHY anyone would I have no idea? The Brewers dumped Corbin Burnes. A Cy Young winner. A strikeout title holder. A dominant pitcher! They dumped Josh Hader. A lights out closer. They resigned Brandon Woodruff who just said he won't play this year. Wow that was a SMART MOVE!! Unload your best pitcher, re-sign the injured guy, and end up with NOTHING or neither pitcher playing for them this year. The Brewers management cries about the Salary situation. BOO HOO!! They cry for the city to pay for the remodeling of their stadium and AGAIN the Brewers do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to improve their team! Then they threaten to move. Maybe if they did move, maybe we could get an expansion team with an owner with some guts. An owner who doesn't cry and whine about everything. An owner who actually DOES SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
I've supported the Milwaukee Brewers for over 50 years. From 1977 to 1984 my family went to 300-350 games. Then they traded Gorman Thomas. Later they Paul Molitor leave via free agency. Since then thus team has either traded, lost, or outright released some really great players. They lost Prince Fielder to Free Agency. Hell even Craig Counsell, a player, a front office guy, and someone who lives in Milwaukee County, and has loved this team and city, EVEN HE BOLTED! Why manage a team where the owner repeatedly gives you the weakest possible lineups, and pitching staff. I know people will say, BUT we now have a stocked minor league. Yippee!! The problem with that is as they come up, into the major leagues, as soon as their rookie contract is up, they are gone. Another fire sale will happen. It's the same thing year after year. Either we're predicted to be in last place and somehow we manage to get close to the wild card(With Craig Counsell that was possible, not this time!), or the Brewers somehow manage to win the division(again NOT THIS YEAR!), or the team finishes 85-77, 82-80, and yippee we're above .500! If they make the playoffs, they RARELY EVER make it past the first round! Every year! Same 💩💩! Every year same results! Close but no 🚬cigar🚬!
