“Is it safe to wear a Rolex out and about nowadays?”

An authentic Rolex watch is considered as a worthy investment that will last a long time.

It's a symbol of elegance, performance, and dependability.

Watch aficionados buy a Rolex watch because they are attracted by the brand’s incredible history and tradition, and contribution to innovation in the world of watches.

Others are drawn by the qualities that are attached to the name ‘’Rolex’’, which evokes success, wealth, and prestige.

Rolex has such a strong reputation that its watches maintain their value better than many other prestigious brands.

Perhaps then it’s no surprise that some unscrupulous people want to get their hands on a Rolex watch – and some will go to extreme measures to do so.

Watch crime on the streets isn't a new thing, but it is scary and worrying and all watch enthusiasts are aware of it… or at least, they should be.

Violent watch robberies is headline news and it may put off even the most ardent Rolex fans from wearing their timepiece in public.

And there are many Rolex owners that are not comfortable walking around in public anymore with their Rolex on their wrist for fear of being harmed in an attack and having their prized possession stolen

So here's 5 tips to help keep you safe while wearing your luxury watch.

My fav camera 🥰. A love of my life. My third child (I only have two human children).
There can only be one choice. This is a middleweight camera. I loved the smaller brother (M50) and I have no interest in rolling with the big boys and their cameras. So for me - this is the one!

My fav One-and-done Lens 🥰
I have several but if I had to just take ONE lens with me - it would be this.
It is AWESOME.

If the Canon EOS r is a bit out of reach, then my camera before this was the Canon M50.
An awesome, affordable camera that punches well above its weight.

You must have a good tripod. Dont skimp here...

Im loving this Watch Stand.
Great for your desk, your bedside table, your shower room.
I have several dotted around the place. Excellent for photography or - just putting on and staring at your watch.

With around a gazillion watch boxes to choose from, there is just ONE that stands out for me.
The one that is 1) most useful 2) looks the coolest 3) practical 4) Excellent quality

Longtime collector. My strategy is simple. Wear a long sleeve shirt. Roll your sleeves up when it’s appropriate and roll them down when it’s not.

When you have to go to such lengths and take all of these precautions just to wear a nice watch you no longer own that possession - it owns you .

If you need to watch this video, it's time to stop wearing a Rolex, and start thinking about voting in politicians who care about prosecuting criminals in your district.

I wore my Rolex Sub down in Miami and the Keys with no issues. Keeping your head on a swivel and being aware of your surroundings is always key. Having a concealed handgun and the training to back it up helps.

Tip # 1. Do not leave your home. You can wear your Rolex in your living room. Then put it back in the safe.

I find my Glock a lovely accessory for my Kermit. Hey - it's not easy being green!

Imagine waiting months and spending thousands of dollars to buy something that you can’t even enjoy due to fear. The Rolex brand has been ruined by artificially low supply and high prices.

When I had my first Rolex in 89 everyone used to pull me up and say "Is that fake?" I always replied. "Yes". Now people are being robbed, even for fake one's. I've passed both my Rolex' to my son who wears them occasionally, I've told him to sell them and have a good holiday. I personally wouldn't own another.

This is clearly a UK problem. I wear my Rolex watches everywhere in the states and nary a look. Well, of course I’m also carrying a SIG P365 in my waistband most days

Good safety and security advice - and not just for watches.

I don't wear anything I couldn't afford to lose. And I definitely don't flash things around.

It’s a reason (one of many) why an Omega is better. I own it for myself and nobody looks twice at me and leaves me alone.

I live in a gun-friendly state in the US and I am ALWAYS carrying. Just try to take my watch!

I wear a hair scrunchie over my watch when I am in public transport and walking the streets. That way, I get to enjoy it everyday and not be worried. There is a slight inconvenience of needing to push the scrunchie aside when I need to tell the time but I get a lot more joy wearing my Rolex just for me and not for anybody else to see.

My colleague once mistook my scrunchie for a bandage and asked if I injured my wrist!

I’ve stopped wearing my Sub. Every time I used to wear it in London everyone asked to see it. It’s a magnet for danger. Even when I did wear it in restaurants with my wife it caused too much anxiety. Shame I saved hard for the watch. Now I wear a Tudor Pelagos. Both are insured

Nothing pairs better than my GMT Master II and my Glock 😎
They’re always together.
