Euro 1972 BMW 2002 tii in Colorado Orange

This Italian 2002 was imported from Europe to the USA in 2016. Once it reached these shores, it was resprayed in it's original Colorado Orange. In 2019 this 2002 tii underwent a complete mechanical refurbishment, including a full engine and Kugelfischer rebuild (number's matching), new clutch along with clutch master and slave cylinders. The brakes on this roundie were also redone with new rotors, brake pads, hoses and brake master cylinder.

Both the engine bay and trunk on this 1972 BMW 2002 tii are in amazing shape, super clean with no rust to speak of. The interior is also in amazing shape. If someone is looking for a strong running tii that can also hold it's own at a car show, this is one you should strongly consider.

I enjoyed this video very much as my first car in 1984 I bought from my mother was in fact a 1972 BMW 2000 Touring with a 2 liter 100 hp engine and came from the factory in the famous INKA colour. This was when I lived in Sweden. My neighbours brother had a Green 1600 Touring and since I have only seen 3 other of these in Europe. I owned my Touring for a good 10 years and it was amazing with its 50/50 folding rear seats and the huge hatch. However, I had the 320 MK1 front seats on the car as it was a direct swap. The famous words, oh I wish I kept it, rings in my ears. It had the same doors as a normal 02 but the roof was slightly different as the door window frame was pointy and not round.
