The light to get rid of the freaking monster is honestly a lifesaver xD

I found out that the bad smell from the body outline in the apartment can be gotten rid of, if you click on just the right area where the smell comes up from you will get a repair option, the sim will then use a mop and scrub that spot and then the smell is gone.

Some of I didn't know, but the boat I knew. In Henford on Bagley you can also travel by clicking on the busstop signs at the end of every map.
Another hidden secret is that you can calm bees with a flower arrangement scented with crocus.

Storage boxes/chests - all of them function like you showed in the video EXCEPT the cardboard box that came with Eco Living, that one doesn't have shared tuning with other storage boxes on the lot. It's the only one I use anymore because it's perfect for e.g. magical stuff (one box for potions, one for artifacts etc) and it also looks great when sized down so you basically can make your own storage unit or shelf. I'm usually putting them on shelves in my Sims' garages for fossils, crystals and such. There are also a few very good CC versions of these boxes with loads of extra logos/pictures on them so you can find anything really easily. Ngl that one little storage box is one of my top 10 most favorite items in the whole game 😂😂😂

Not only do vampires not have a reflection but also the stuffed bat Bearcula that comes with the Vampires pack also does not have a reflection. Just a little fun fact.

There’s another TLC apartment that has the same odor problem in the corner of the room, I joked saying ‘I bet there’s a body buried under the floor!’ And then when I moved to the apartment in this video and saw the chalk outline it did amuse me, and how the smell comes from there. It’s pretty morbid and I’m totally down for that 😁

There’s actually a few nightlights that keep the monsters away but I don’t think all of them will. I like to use the little one that looks like a moon and a cloud or the moon lamp from werewolves.

The other day when my Sims family with 4 kids moved into a new house and I was decorating the kids's room, I put that Coolala wall light in their room, I dont normally read the item descriptions and after a week in game I was wondering why none of the kids complained of there being a monster under the bed, now I know why

The other secret about the Monster is that the child can make friend with it, if it has enough of a certain skill. I have never done it though.

I clicked thinking "For sure they'll be tips/tricks I already know" and while some were, there were actually some that really surprised me!
Already knew:
- Sixam is Maxis backwards
- the monster under the bed light
- changing the colour of the phone (although I stopped doing this one because it became incredibly irritating that each time I loaded a lot my sim changed their phone covering - not sure if this bug is fixed).
- boat to the lighthouse

also, you can watch a sim take off in a rocket on the computer. someone just needs to get in the rocket and explore and your other sim can watch the launch via a computer. 🚀

i remember when i accidentally found out about placing the bar stools on the food stalls and my mind was blown. lol. usually i already know most of these things in these videos but this had things i actually didn't know, such as the body outline in san myshuno and the hidden skills, especially the retail ones! i love this game, and the fact that despite playing for years there are still new things to discover.
