Marlins Park is the weirdest stadium ever!

Marlins Park is weird as hell, and that's why I like it. As you'll see, it's a tough place for catching home runs on the fly, but there are lots of other nooks and crannies where you can snag baseballs.

I play the ball catching game too. I'm 63. Some of the comments are hard to understand. It's a game. Snagging a game ball is a thrill. Great tutorial dude. I never get in before 530, but my pal (he's 70) and I have a 70% success rate on getting at least one ball. I almost always bring another game ball with me, in case I see some kid really showing a love of the game.

Dude you should just leave the balls in cup holders around the stadium so when people go to their seats they are surprised with a reward of a ball!

I never understood why the Marlins can’t draw fans. Seems like it would be a great baseball town with all the Caribbean influence/population. Add to that the winning history of the Marlins(2 World Series titles already in their short history). Why can’t they draw?

I loved Marlins Park when I went there. I’ve been to old and new Yankees Stadium, Fenway, & Progressive Field too. Not that many ball parks but in terms of view of the game and freedom to walk around marlins park was the most fun I’ve had. A bottle of water at Fenway was more expensive than my tickets to the marlins game. The only redeeming quality of Fenway is the atmosphere. I had a $4 ticket and got to see Stanton, Ozuna, Yelich, Ichiro, Arenado, Story, Lemahieu, Blackmon, and CarGo. It was a 5-3 game where all the runs were solo home runs. Can’t really beat that.

I'm south florida born and raised and I think I've only ever been to two marlins games. If you want to watch a winning Miami team watch the university of miami baseball team. Way cheaper and more exciting.
