Planting a food forest and starting vege gardens is an exciting part of developing our property. We're in the early stages and I'm excited to share with you the projects we've been working on so far and some of the rare fruit and other fruit trees we're growing. I'll also be sharing how we're working on turning our grass lawn into and abundance of fruit and vegetables! One step closer to becoming more self sufficient :).
I'll go through mulching with wood chips and cardboard, planting some cool fruit trees, nitrogen fixing trees and plants, growing in raised vegetable gardens, growing berries, our chicken run and some other stuff!
I hope you enjoy and let me know if there's a topic you want me to go more in depth on :)

The Kiwi Grower is a channel featuring all sorts of unusual of often tropical fruiting plants with tips of how to successfully grow them. I'm interested in all things gardening and love growing edibles. While I'm not in a tropical climate I like pushing limits of what I can grow and sharing experiments with you all. Come learn with me and Subscribe! I have animal videos too :).

Your vegetable gardens look great. I would love to see a video where you harvest your dinner and see what ends up on your plate. Can you post a harvesting video sometime?

you really make such antidepressive content - thank you so so much!!! Yet I would love to see inf about your plant hardiness zone so as to be able to see whether some of your unusual fruits would have a chance in my area too (zone 8a)

The ice cream bean should come away in spring, it grows very fast being nitrogen fixing. Interested to see what the blue sausage tree looks/tastes like !

Your property is looking pretty good, great potential for te years to come and most likely it will look spectacular in 10-20 years, interesting to see how your trees have already come out of dormancy as the same situation is happening in Australia and probably other parts of the world too.

SO GLAD YOU MENTIONED THE DOG - NAME AS I SAW HER ON THE VIDEO ABOUT GRAFTING THE TOMATOES + POTATOES AND WONDERED HER BREED AS SHE REMINDS ME OF A STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER BUT WONDERED MAYBE ABOUT A TOUCH OF GREYHOUND.
